Jammu, September 24 (PTI) Minister of State for External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said on Friday that many changes are visible regarding development, including completion of megaprojects, advancement of ongoing development work and the implementation of various centrally sponsored programs after the repeal of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the current waiver is doing its best to bring Jammu and Kashmir on the glorious path of development.
As part of the central government’s public outreach program, Singh today visited Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur district and listened to the demands of the public during a program.
He initiated various works and development projects of the rural development department in Ramnagar, Kulwanta and Parlidhar blocks of Udhampur district.
The Ministry of Health also distributed âMamta kitsâ, sports kits under Khelo India, Sehat cards under the Ayushmann Bharat regime, residence certificates, e-Sharam cards and wheelchairs, in addition to handing out cultivators and maize hullers to the beneficiaries.
Addressing the assembly, the Union Minister said: âAfter the repeal of Article 370 of J&K, many changes are visible in the development field, such as the completion of megaprojects, the ‘advancement of ongoing development work and implementation of various centrally sponsored programs in J&K â.
The Ministry of Health has expressed satisfaction with the implementation of several government programs in the district.
He appreciated the efforts of the district administration as well as various departments for effective implementation of government programs on the ground.

Regarding the establishment of the third level of Panchayati Raj institutions in UT, the Minister observed that with the PRI, the development process has accelerated with complete zeal and dedication for socio-economic upliftment. ordinary people.
He said the government is committed to empowering the panchayats by devoting funds, functions and officials to them, as local representatives are well aware of the needs of their regions and can prioritize issues with the best solution.
Commenting on the natural assets and scenic beauty of J&K, Singh said the Jammu region has enormous tourism potential as well as the potential to channel local vegetable products into an organized business.
