Cong launches ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ at J’khand
Following instructions from the All India Congress Committee (AICC), the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) organized Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state capital on Thursday. The Yatra departed from Congress Headquarters and passed through Shaheed Chowk, Albert Ekka Chowk, Sarjana Chowk on the main Ranchi road.
A large number of party leaders and workers participated in the program. Slogans were launched during the march like stamping out the spread of hate, stop abusing constitutional institutions, reduce inflation. Wreaths were also laid at the martyr’s site by members of Congress during the Bharat Jodo Padyatra.
Speaking to the Padyatra programme, JPCC leader Rajesh Thakur said this trip will write history. “It is about showing the power of unity step by step and making India dreams come true. It is a journey of the whole country. Today millions of people believe that this journey is “will prove very beneficial for the unification of India. The Bharat Jodo Yatra is the beginning of positive politics, calm contemplation and new determination. The tricolor represents every person living in this country,” he added.
On the occasion, the state government’s health minister, Banna Gupta, said the country is surrounded by a huge economic crisis and has grown up as a tragedy. He said that this “Yatra” was made to listen to the voice of the Indian people. “The party does not want to suppress the voice of Indian people like RSS and BJP. You want to listen to the people of India. This is the purpose of this trip. It is the journey of the Congress party, in the interest of the country and in it of every class, of every sect, of every person, whether political or non-political, which today is the deterioration of the economy of this country, social disharmony, which is growing, which is a threat to the Indian Constitution,” he added.
“Bharat Jodo Yatra left Kanyakumari on September 7, the day before yesterday. This journey will be approximately 3,500 km long and will cross 12 states and 2 union territories. One of the great ideas behind Bharat Jodo Yatra is that of our leader Rahul Gandhi. They believe that the economic inequalities that are there, because of inflation, because of unemployment, because of the GST, the economic challenges that our country is facing, the inequalities are increasing, so keep that in mind, because they sort of divide. It is because of the economic inequalities in the society, that is why India must be united,” Gupta said.
The deputy leader of the Congress Legislative Party, Pradeep Yadav, said that the aim of Bharat Jodo Yatra is to eradicate the economic inequalities, which are visible in our country today, inflation, unemployment, GST, for show the growing economic inequalities. Why India is able to unite Today there is a need to connect India because India is falling apart and the number one reason for disintegration is economic inequality, growing economic inequality,” said Gupta.
