Akin is a great target, as he struggled in most of his starts and especially had some tough times on the road, where he has a 7.71 ERA, 0.313 BAA and 0.401 wOBA. Those numbers are in part made up of shoddy work against right-handed hitters, who scored Akin for an average of .305, 10 home runs and a wOBA of .398 on the road.

Austin Nola (C / 1B / 2B, SDP) 30% registered

ALSO CONSIDER: Hanser Alberto (2B / 3B / SS, KC)1% registered

Streamers Pitcher for the 22 9/22 – Shallow Leagues

Joe Ryan (SP, MIN) 38% enrolled

Match:@ CHC RHP Kyle Hendricks

Ryan has been impressive in his first three big league starts, allowing just seven hits in 17 innings while forging a K: BB of 14: 2. The right-hander’s hard-throw success is a continuation of his stellar minor league career, during which he posted a 15-8 record, 2.67 ERA and 326 strikeouts in 226 innings. Ryan got a second chance on Wednesday with the Cubs team he faced in his big-league debut on September 1, when he allowed three earned runs but only on three hits in five innings and had recorded five strikeouts. Chicago should give Ryan plenty of opportunities to show off his elite tricks, given the Cubs hit 27.1% against the righties at home last month.

Streamers Pitcher for the 22 9/22 – Deeper Leagues

Carlos Hernandez (SP, KC) 29% enrolled

Match: @ KEY LHP Logan Allen

Hernandez was knocked down by Athletics in his last start for seven earned runs, but that was largely an outlier in an otherwise solid second half for the right-hander. Before the stumble, Hernandez had broken a record of 5-0, 1.68 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 0.6 HR / 9 in his previous eight starts. He was also the most efficient on the road, managing a 2.60 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 0.5 HR / 9 in 34.2 innings to reach a 3-0 mark on the road.
